Stories From The Land - 2016 National Tour
It's here. The Stories From The Land 2016 National Tour is finally here and we are so excited to hit the road and hear, gather and share the stories of diverse Indigenous Nations across Canada all in an effort to engage reconciliation through storytelling & community!
A number of our tour stops are ready to go but we still have an opportunity to deliver a few more stops along our way!
IS YOUR COMMUNITY READY TO ENGAGE & EXPLORE RECONCILIATION? BRING THE TOUR TO YOUR TERRITORY
Producing a tour is a massive undertaking. We are looking for live presentation partners for the Fall of 2016. You can help take some of the heavy weight off of us by stepping forward as a host community, a producing partner, a sponsor and more!
Are you a community, theatre, arts organization, Friendship Centre, university/college, high school that is interested in hosting us or helping to produce one of our 12 live events? Are you interested in a workshop exploring reconciliation through storytelling & Indigenous histories?
We are offering workshops, live shows & reconciliation presentations - reach out to us. We'd love to hear from you.
THANK YOU TO OUR FUNDERS & SPONSORS
We want to thank the Canada Council For The Arts, The Circle On Philanthropy For Aboriginal Peoples & The Arts and The McConnell Foundation for supporting independent Indigenous media and we look forward to delivering this groundbreaking project both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities alike.
